General conditions of sale
By logging on to the skishop operated by l'Association des Remontées mécaniques des Alpes vaudoises (hereinafter referred to as ARMAV) www.easyski.ch, customers can buy the following passes:
"11am" and "1pm" passes
The pass is valid from 11am or 1pm on the date and and in the ski resort selected. You cannot enter the turnstiles before the time selected for your pass.
" Day" pass
The pass is valid all day on the date and in the ski resort selected, depending on the opening times of the various facilities.
"Consecutive Days" pass
Also called a ""Trip Pass"", which has a term of validity of between 2 and 8 days.
Season pass is on www.magicpass.ch
All passes purchased from the skishop will be loaded on to a keycard, which is a hands-free card sold for CHF 5.00.
Anybody who does not have a keycard must purchase one.
Anybody with a keycard can top it up using the number on the back of the card (xx-xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx-x). The first two figures of the number should be 01-, 29- or 30-."
3. Logging in and account creation
You do not need to create an account to purchase a pass.
Customers can purchase a pass as a guest. You will need to enter your full name and e-mail address.
When logging in to the system (creation of a user account), the customer's information will be stored by the system. The next time they order, customers will be able to view their data (full name, date of birth, and keycard number). For any new person affiliated to a new account, the customer must indicate their full name and date of birth.
Prices in the skishop are indicated in Swiss Francs, including VAT, excluding shipping.
Secure payments can be made by credit card (Visa-MasterCard) or PostFinance.
The payment system is a secure environment using the Datatrans system. All bank information entered is protected. Protection measures comply with the legal provisions currently in force in Switzerland. Customers can make purchases in total security and confidence.
A confirmed order will only be considered complete following agreement by the banking payment centre concerned. In the event of refusal by the payment centre, the order will be automatically cancelled and the client will be informed by email.
ARMAV hereby reserves the rights to refuse any order from a customer with whom a dispute is pending.
6. Order confirmation
Once payment has been made and accepted by Datatrans, a confirmation e-mail with an order summary, indicating the confirmation number and keycard number(s), shall be sent to the customer at the address used to place the order.
The customer should print the order confirmation and retain this as proof to show when using the mechanical ski lifts in the Alpes Vaudoises.
7. Order Deliveries
If topping up a keycard, customers can go directly to one of the entry terminals in the ski resort selected with the hands-free card in their pocket.
If purchasing a keycard, customers should indicate a physical delivery address. Orders will be dispatched within approximately 5 days.
8. Validation of the pass
A pass will only be validated when the customer first goes through the turnstiles at the ski resort selected in the Alpes Vaudoises.
9. Order cancellation
Orders cannot be cancelled once validated.
Refunds cannot be issued for any passes that are not insured.
Customers have the option of taking out two different types of insurance:
Skicare (pass+rescue insurance)
- CHF 5.-/ day
- CHF 98.-/season
Passprotect (pass insurance)
- CHF 3.-/day
- CHF 63.-/season

Each travel pass shall be personal and non-transferable.
In the event of any fraudulent or abusive use by any third party, the holder of the pass shall be liable to pay a fine of CHF 200.00 plus the price of a full pass. Additionally, the pass shall be confiscated from the third party.
12. Acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale
By placing an order on www.easyski.ch, customers acknowledge awareness of all above points and confirm unreserved acceptance thereof.
The present general conditions of sale shall govern all contractual relations between TVG SA and its customers. They shall prevail over all other conditions appearing in any other document, notwithstanding any prior, express and written provision to the contrary.
13. Modification of the General Conditions of Sale
TVG SA reserves the right to amend the present General Conditions of Sale at any time by publishing a new version thereof. Any orders placed following publication by TVG SA of the new version of the General Conditions of Sale shall constitute acceptance thereof."
14. Dispute resolution
The present Agreement is subject to Swiss Law.
TVG SA shall not be held liable for any damage of any nature whatsoever, whether material or immaterial or corporal, which may result from any malfunction or misuse of passes sold. This shall additionally be the case for any incorrect orders, keycard numbers incorrectly entered at the time of registration, incorrectly selected pass duration, incorrect date of birth, etc.
In any event, ARMAV can only be held liable for the total value of the order and not for any simple errors or omissions which may remain despite all precautions taken in the presentation of the passes.
It is hereby reiterated that as a general rule and subject to the consideration of the Courts, compliance with the provisions pertaining to the contractual guarantee implies that the purchaser shall honour his or her commitments to the sellers.
Favourable consideration shall always be given to complaints or disputes, on the assumption that anybody taking the trouble to present their case does so in good faith. In the event of any dispute, the customer should first and foremost approach ARMAV to seek an amicable resolution.
Failing that, the Vevey Courts shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction, whatever the place of delivery or payment method accepted.
ARMAV may not be held liable for not complying with the regulatory or legislative provisions in force in the country where the customer resides.
The liability of ARMAV shall automatically be limited to the value of the pass in question, the value at the date of sale, and there shall be no right of redress against the brand or company producing the pass.
